Privacy policy (2020-07-21)

This privacy policy governs your use of Vidrio, a software application that was created by James Fisher. Vidrio is a presentation tool for macOS which captures your webcam's video feed and displays it over the windows on your desktop.

The Vidrio app does not obtain information about you or your device. The Vidrio app does not transmit your webcam video feed to external services.

Vidrio uses Google Analytics for collecting metrics about usage, such as the number of times a feature is used, or which app version is used. This helps us understand how to make improvements to the app. The Vidrio app also connects with our servers to check for version updates.

The Vidrio app may monitor keyboard shortcuts that you configure in your Preferences. Vidrio does not use these keyboard shortcuts for anything else — for instance, it does not log your keystrokes or send your keystrokes to any external services.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes. You can check the history of this policy by clicking here.

If you have any questions regarding privacy while using Vidrio, or have questions about our practices, please contact us via email at jim@vidr.io.
